exhaust and intake ?

My Son has a 05 w/ a AT, 3:73 gears. If he done the Intake and or Exhaust, would it throw any codes, or any sensors that need to be put back ?

No as long as you put the intake temp sensor back into the intake. Nothing to worry about on the exhaust.

I would say about 70 to 90 hp to be in the safe zone... If you wanted to spend the money you can get a torque converter upgrade and that should hold a good amount of power..

Depending on how he drives is how long the tranny will last with added hp. DSmokin is right though, your son could do a TC/VB upgrade and should be okay with an extra 70-90hp.

I had a 5 inch turbo back magnaflow and the K&N intake and it never threw any codes. Just as long as you put the sensor back in the intake ur fine. I also had the bullydog triple pup on it and I kept it mostly on the lowest setting. Only turned it up when racing or wanted to blow a lot of smoke. I never had any tranny problems but I know of people who did. I also heard the Edge chip helps the tranny shift smoother than the bullydog. Mine would hit kind of hard.
