2006 lly dmax shift point

my new dmax shifts at 3200rpm but the redline shows to be at 4500rpm. can anyone tell me what the correct shift point is. My dmax is stock 06 lly 6 speed

the engine is rev limited to 3250.

The redline is way up at 4500 because if you are pulling a heavy trailer down a hill, the Allison will downshift and the RPM will go way up as the truck downshifts. The redline basically means nothing because even if you were to floor your truck, the ECM will keep you from hurting anything, and whent he transmission downshifts, the trans computer wont let a downshift happen if it will overspeed the engine. Tach's in these new computerized trucks are pointless IMO. Your truck is fine.
