Who on this website has a dmax in the 10s, because I'd like to have a little dieselgarage 10 second club.

Garrett GT4088R from PPE, PPE Duel fuelers, PPE Tuning, PPE stage 4 transmission w/suncoast 1056 converter, PPE Lift pump, Fabtech tie rods, Black Eagle alloys.

There is only 2 10 second trucks that I know of and I do not think either of them post here. Buck Spruill and NLDP, there might be more but only these have done it at national events.

No, I haven't run in the 10s, I was just wondering if anyone besides NLDP and diesel tech has run in the 10s.

OK....you had me wondering...

NLDP is out of Chicago area, Buck S. is in North Carolina (I think).

Diesel Tech is Mr. Cole from TTS....who should have a 10 sec prostreeter in 2007! (BTW, that is a helluva truck, Steve)

Last year we put the only Duramax's in the 10's, the year before we were first into the 11's with a duramax. For '07 we hope to be the first Duramax into the 8's and with a little luck get both Buck and NLDP into the 9's.

Wow, can't wait to see a dmax in the 8s. You know, you have competition, gale banks is doing a 1000 RWHP dmax that will be in the 8s.

Gale Banks....:blah:

PPE and TTS know more about building a powerful Duramax than Banks does. Those two companies at least are trying to build things that a regular person could buy and build.
Banks just built that truck for themselves to show off what they could do if they actually made an effort. Its just a PR thing....

That is true, PPE has had two powerful dmax's so far, both in the 11s, and steve's is in the 10s. Of course PPE did it on #2, but as far as I know, they had no internals.

If I were to come into the money to build a fast street truck, I'd go with Merchant building the engine/trans and then choose between TTS, PPE or EFILive programming.
