If it works anything like the Edge Attitude monitor, then I would say its very easy to use. Being able to cycle through power levels and have a single screen with gauges is a bonus.

Have you checked Quad's site for more info?

I've got one on my truck. Not a dmax but I can tell you that it is pretty easy to use and install. The instructions are darn good!!

If you are able to change power levels with it (not sure how that all works with the dmax) you just push the 2nd button in and you will go up or the 3rd button and it will go down one level.

I also have a pic of it insalled in my truck. It will give you a better idea of the size of the unit. It is in the link to my gallery.

I have the commander on my PSD, and it is great, large display, easy to use, and you can do all kinds of stuff with it. I am sure it would be the same on a Duramax.

It works very well on the D-Max. It doesn't change power levels if you are using a downloader but if you are using a plug in module it will. Shoot me a PM for some more info and a price.
