New bests

Up in Spokane this weekend for Diesel Thunder.

Ran my LLY at the track and on the dyno.

I dyno'ed with twins/ppe/va
Dyno'ed 532HP

Ran at the track with twins/ppe only. I didn't have access to the VA box for the races.

Ran a best of 13.04 @ 103 mph,

So close to twelves I couldn't stand it. Last time at the track the VA added .4 to my quarter. IF,IF,IF, oh well there's always time to reach my goal.

Great to meet many fine people and put faces to names. I saw many beautiful, fast, and beautiful fast trucks. Everyone was friendly and very helpful regardless of make of vehicle. Thanks everyone for making my first diesel get together great.

Rob

I had access to a tech 2 just before going to the track. We cleared the cells and put it in fast learn. I drove to the track(about five full shift cycles) and the trans shifted great most of the night. I still have a slight lay down on the top end, not sure what the problem is. I don't think it's trans related, feels like lack of fuel, just doesn't pull hard through the traps.

I thought my trans was shot after last time at the track. Seems to be holding fine. I guess the allison just needed to go to school again.

Looks like I need to do the fast learn more often. Anyone know if there's a way to do it without a tech 2?

I believe the new Quad tuner can do it.

Great numbers on the LLY, congrats!

What was the big number for the Duramax at the event? Did the LB7 twin truck do well?

I'll let Juice chime in, but I think he was the highest HP duramax at the event.

There were two lb7 tts trucks, and a few lb7 with stock trannys.

Darrell's Lb7 tts truck rolled a 491hp (might have been running water/meth)

Carl's Lb7 tts truck rolled a 524hp(using water/meth, but his N2O was D.O.A.) This truck looked very powerful on the rollers, to bad he didn't find the N2O problem until after.

Jeff Shewell's stock trannyed lb7 did a 453hp

Naaaww, 453 on a stock tranny is very possible... but you'll never run it on the street. :roflmao:

He's been running the truck that way on the street for many, many miles. He ran it at the track also, sorry I don't remember his times. He did say it's on it's last dying breath.
