Unhappy Engine Light

I have a 2003 Chevy C6500 Duramax Engine V6 desiel... I have an issue where im driving and then the truck losses power and wont go faster than 30MPH. I had a tech put computer on it and said i had "P-1291" Trouble Code... I have wasted so much money trying to fix this problem and i don't know what to do... One of my friends drove it and said its the turbo any comments?

Are you talking about a I6? The inline is a little differant than the LB7 V8. read the engine sticker and tell us if it is a 6.6 or the bigger inline 6.
