EFI Live

EFI Live custom tuning software has been released for the LLY and LB7 Duramax. It is time to leave the Ford and Dodge guys in the dust. It is one awesome setup. Kennedy is an authorized dealer for EFILive. You will soon be able to make your own tunes and eliminate stacking. You can also customize your stock or modded vehicle to turn on SES lights sooner, or not at all. It offers full customization of your vehicles PCM and has a scan tool that can monitor up to 96 parameters at one time. This software can replace all of your tuners in one easy to use application. I paid for the software by selling one of my tuners (not the 180 VA Box!!!)!! I love it! I can't believe we have lived without something like this for so long. Once you try it, you will be hooked!!

I agree Bobo, I've spent a little time with the EFI Live software over to Merchant's. EFI Live is very powerful stuff. Not just for tuning but the data logging will far surpass the Tech 2 for capabilities. Once I get a better grasp for the program am considering selling some of my programmers to bankroll my own software and a laptop.
I don't think EFI Live is for everybody but for those that have taken current aftermarket programing as far as it will go and are still looking for more EFI live is the future.

It is a great program for the stock guys too. What better way is there to shut of your EGR...turn off the EGR codes, and add a little boost all in the name of lower EGT's? No more wrench turning, cussing, etc. Just do it from the comfort of your cab. And if you want to build a 40hp tow tune of your own....go right ahead. It is just a few key strokes away. The software does seem confusing to the novice at first glance, but five minutes of playing and it all starts to make sense!!

The tech support from EFI live is like no other. All updates can be done online. And believe me....these updates are unreal. They are always adding new parameters you can monitor (called PID's in EFI terms). The things they have in the development stage will blow your minds. Stay tuned!! No pun intended!!

EFI=No stuff for Dodge or Ford. SCT makes a similar program for the Ford.

so how much power is it worth on a stock truck?

97 3500 4x4 cummins 6 speed southbend dual disk, over 500rwhp. 2001 gmc sierra 2500 dura/alli 4x4 4 door,100hp dumaximizer. and project 11:30 98 12v reg cab, auto, short bed, hx40/16 on top, bht3be on bottom riding on a set of 20's and driving back and forth to work everyday at 500 plus rwhp. and a 00 4x4 crew cab stroke, heck it might get a cummins.

Its custom tuning...

So it could be anything from a 20HP boost to 270HP boost. Tuning skills required of course.:roflmao:
