Started with Edge/Attitude, and added a BullyDog tuner just to reset tire sizes. Good for the person who wants a bit more power without sacrificing mileage. That was really all I was going to do....but....

I finally got to the point where I thought, "Its time to quit riding the fence and jump into the performance side", so I had Merchant build the trans and then went and bought the PPE Hot+2. Went 12.63 best with that tuner, with nothing other than exhaust, intake, boost valve and lift pump as supporting mods. Stock turbo, injectors and CP3.

Looking for more, and really wanting to log runs so I know what was happening during my races, I decided to buy EFILive. So I sold the PPE and bought a used V1 setup with two licenses. After asking around, I decided to buy a race tune from Duramaxtuner.com. I could have gone with Ridgerunner, too. It was really a tossup.
First time out, with only the tune changed, went 12.40. Im sure there are further tweaks that can be done that could possibly get my truck even faster.....

Now, its time to start adding hardware to compliment the tuning I have. I have already added a modified LB7 regulator, courtesy of Superdiesel, and theres more to come.

But, in the end, its all about balance....everything has to work together to get results.

In the end, its all about what you want to do....

I have used them all. Can't say I like any of them. Finally settled on custom tuning. Far better, and the new accelerator springs really make it seemless.
