shifting hard out of 1st gear

ok so I have a 2008 ford f350 6.4L with 98K miles on it, when I am at a dead stop (at a stoplight or something like that) then give it gas the truck slams in the rear end. it only does it when in gear and from a dead stop to moving, all other gears shift smooth. I don;t think it's the tranny but more from the rear end, Just wanted y'all's input and thoughts on what you all think it could be.
Thanks!
