I don't think there is enough data yet to clearly answer your question. By the time there is enough data you will probably have another truck. We have a truck that had a very short run, 3 years. Not enough trucks built to get and meaningful data. But i do see them around now with 250,000 miles and they are still running. My truck has been deleted for 8000 miles and it does as you said run so much better. Also, I sent an oil sample at 5000 miles and it was perfect, the best report I ever had. So I expect to get to 150 to 175 thousand miles without a majot problem. I run an edge programmer on step 1 only (+35HP). I had the same concerns you expressed so I drive it like an old man, which is easy for me becaquse I am an old man. Now, I don't think there are any free lunches, if you load up with a big HP tuner and run the truck like a drag racer or use it to pull sleds then I think you would probably have an early engine failure, but I don't have any evidence to back that up. This is probably not very helpful but in the end you are gonna just have to make your own decision and live with it. Hope this helps you decide,
