UPDATE ON MY 11B23 DONE LAST WEEK

Well I got it done. about a week before I got it done, I left my key in the on position to change my clock and the batts died, when i recharged them they never came back to specs so when i took in I got a good deal on 2 new batts so I had them install. My point is the trk was without power for 2-3 days and the compt was slicked. Then they installed new batts and did 11b23 and NOW the lieometer will not come up to 17mpg after driving a day or so, it used to go up to 18-19 and settle out at 16-17 just driving it to work after resetting it. My question is will it take along time for it to figure out again what is best for shifting ect, to get the same mpg i got b 4. also it idles a little rough now. I was wondering if this upgrade gives it more passive regen and thats why the mpg went down. Im gonna drive it more to see what happens, but again I used to get immediate results on the lieometer when i reset it, (16-17 mpg) now after driving for 20-30 miles 3 times it settles out at 14 mpg each time. Thanks for any opinions, I know this is really not a big prob, but just thought id see what some of you in the know thought. again thanks for reading all this.

All is fine now. MPG on the lieometer settled out at 17.6 and idle is back to normal. It does have a more crisp throttle response now from low speeds and from a dead stop. I will miss knowing when it is in regen(message staying on) just waiting for my 1st regen after update to see what kind of message and when i get a message.

my mileage has settled out at 18.5 now!!!! and that was idling at the base gate for 15 mins!! no regen yet, it will drop significantly when that happens. also the boost is alot easier to keep under 10 now, so i can keep my mpg up. only 250 miles since compt upgrade. I do not drive over 55 and my ride is not on any freeways, just some back country roads. 30 miles each way.

new update/READ IF WANT NEW INFO ON REGEN NOTIFICATION BY COMPT

finally went camping and towed with new compt flash. No problems. Was hard on it.(for me) nailed it 4-5 times, no shutter, got 12 mpg on trip with ac going 60 mph. Went into regen @ 345 miles cause I drove it 250 miles the week before. Noted the " cleaning exsaust filter" message flash up. I found out when you look at the info screen now, when still in regen will get the message as the last thing untill regen stops and then the message drops off. so while in regen if u want to see if done just check the info center!! nice, Im fine with this, as long as i can check to see if doing it or done, im happy.

IM NOT sure. I drive really easy, keepin the boost under 10 no matter how pissed off I make people behind me at a light etc. also I allways antisipate stops and drift up slow before i stop, again pissing off everyone behind me. But like the honey badger i do not give a sh-t. It's my $ i would use for fuel so I do not let them intimidate me. I also use ford's fuel additve to increase cetane, I allways use good/fresh fuel from a reliable source. after regen it drops to 17 mpg and will slowly creep back up to 18-19 mpg. You never know maybe the fuel computer is inncorrect like alot of people on this site say.
