2 stroke oil in a 6.4

Just wondering if I can run 2 stroke oil as my fuel additive like I did in my 6.0. Truck has a DPF delete on it. I have a few cases of 2 stroke oil left for the 6.0, just not driving it much now that I have the 6.4. Just didn't know since it runs alot higher fuel pressure. Thanks.

The sulfer in the 2 stroke oil will ruin your DOC if you care. If you ever need to put your DPF back on it will not pass emissions should they change the law and require emission checks on diesels where you live.
I have used the Motorcraft cetane booster and injector lube in every tank for my injector pump and injectors. I now use Opti Lube based on this test http://www.jatonkam35s.com/DeuceTech...itive_test.pdf

Thanks for the link, very good information. Should also add that DOC is also deleted. Makes you think twice about what additives to use. Thanks again.

I would caution anyone about making decisions based on this "test". It raises more questions than it answers about lubricity and additives. I don't find any certification regarding the "independent testing laboratory", the methods or the results. One of the highest rated products was purchased directly from the manufacturer and it was "experimental".

I tried optilube based on this testing and didn't see anything different in my 6.0. It looks, smells and probably tastes just like power service product. I use Archoil 6200 and do see a difference. (Not in the group tested).
