Navistar to Halt Production of Ford Power Stroke Diesel Engine
Feb 26, 2007
Automotive News

Navistar International Corp. said it is suspending production of the Power Stroke diesel engines it builds for Ford Motor Co., saying that Ford had stopped honoring terms of their agreement.

Production of the engines, which power Ford's heavy-duty pickups, will be stopped at its Indianapolis, Ind., and Huntsville, Ala. plants, Navistar said.

The Huntsville plant will continue to produce engines for other customers, it said in a statement.

Life changes, so roll with it, not against it.
