Drove a 08' 6.4L today

And I was not impressed with the power of the motor. Don't get me wrong it's strong. I guess I was expecting it to run like 6.0 does with the street file from innovative diesel :smoke (which is awsome:Thumbup: , prop's to innovative).

i too was not impressed. the motor is an improvement, but not some night and day i got have one type of thing. plus the truck is not as nice looking as its predicesor IMO. the interior is not appealing to me, they took away the arm rest from the back of the seat, and the top of the center console is too far away (for me) to use a resting spot. plus they took away the nice king matching interior and replaced it with a mixture of tan and NON matching black dash cover thing and metallic gray?? it does not go well IMO.

I also drove one. Found it sluggish if not really getting in the peddle. Of course, can't tell how it tows during an empty test drive. I like the back seat though. Don't like how heavy it is. I know there are reasons for being heavy, but a there are reasons for wanting a light as truck as possible too.

If they had a 6 speed, I might have taken a chance. But the question of quality, and this latest news means I will probably never own a Ford in my lifetime. Ordered a Dodge today. Sold a GMC a couple of months ago.

Forgot, I also found the steering REALLY tough, much worse than the competitors.
