You've heard an AFE on a 6.4 already? Because you cant really hear the big guy on my CTD's twins spool thru the intake,but its loud and clear thru the muffled exhaust.:

no.. not with the AFE.. but i herd one stock.. i was next to him at a stop light and i told him to get on it.. it sounds good..! i got a single on my truck and i hear it spool just fine!! .. and i have an AEM .. intake.. ( MISTAKE DONT BUY)

I bet what your hearing is the VGT secondary turbo,which probably does sound good,the bigger primary usually doesnt get rolling until the secondarys made at least 5psi for a few seconds.You can easily hear the secondary thru the primary,which is basically freewheeling until it gets a good load on it(revving it up in N isnt much of a load.)My HX40 sings loud and clear thru the HT3b,and the AFE filter.

It will be week or so till we get some of he intakes in the warehouse they are just coming out of factory, I'm sure it won't take long before someone has a sound clip on here with one. Personally I can't wait to hear it.:
