With all the new emissions and added crap it probably would be difficult if not impossible to shoe horn the 6.4L in the van. Not to mention the heat build up around the engine and around the dog house inside the passenger compartment. Did the 6.0L ever get put in the vans? I've never looked for one so I don't know? Just my guess but seems logical?

6.4

The vans will be just like when the 6.0's came out. They will need time to figure out how to set it up. The big problem with the vans is the fact that the 6.4 is an engine that needs to have the cab lifted.

Not to hi-jack the thread here, but those headlights are the ones that should've gone on the superduties to begin with.

The DMAX fits in the GM van, logic tells me the 6.4 oughta be in the Ford van as well.

The 6.0 is currently in the van until late this year when Ford will somehow manage to put the 6.4 in them. It will probaly take longer than that due to Ford being so behind on everything. I would say thisntime next year.

There does not seem to be any logic in the way Ford does business these days? Its almost like they look for what the consumer wants and do the oppposite or make them wait so long for it that they have to look elsewhere.
I bleed Ford blue and will continue to for awhile anyway but alot of thier customers have jumped ship. I think they need to hire some of us in thier R&D and Marketing Departments.

Folks....

Think about this. Ford has a limited supply of 6.4L engines, and R&D funds, while available are being dedicated to other more profitable lines.

Would you take ONE 6.4L engine off the F-series line to use in the E-series line when the profits are THOUSANDS more on the f-series? I sure as H#LL would not.
