any problems??

Any 6.4l owners have any problems yet? Lets exclude mpg. I'm hearing so much talk from non 6.4l owners about how problematic these motors are! I only have 350 miles on mine but no problems so far, and it does pull harder than my 6.0l stock vs. stock.

How can you hear about so MANY problems when the trucks just started hitting the road.

Go down a few threads and there was a turbo issue, I think.

You have to give it plenty of time to find out what it will do. I would say a year from now we will all know what is the weak points, if any.

A lot of what I'm hearing comes from 6.0l owners!!! I have nothing but good things to say about the 6.0l powerplant. I'm sure the 6.4 will treat me just as well if not better.

My truck came in yesterday,f250 screw long bed, pictures to come after i pick it up on mon/tues. I was wondering what cetane fuel you are all running in your trucks, cause it calls for 43 and ive only seen 40 at the pumps here in va. do u think it will make a diff in power and or milage. the info ford puts out said it will affect both. If need be , i will put in the ford octane boost. what do you think?

I've got problems other than mileage. Mine has been at the dealer for 13 days for a howl in the rear end. They finally ordered a new pumpkin on Wednesday and it was supposed to be in on Friday but did not show. I also have a hell of a time keeping it in one lane when the road is grooved or has seams in it. The factory rep that drove it thinks that the rear end noise and wandering are connected because of the full floating rear end, but he obviously does not know that full floating has nothing to do with the hubs floating, so I'm pretty sure that problem will still exist when I pick it up after the rear end replacement. I'm at about 1300 miles. I wish they would get it straightened out and back to me so everyone will stop giving me so much crap for trading my Duramax on the first Ford I've ever owned!! I do love the ride and the interior though.
