Magnaflow

I got an email today with info on Magnaflow's exhaust for the 6.4ltr. They have 3.5" duals (same side exit), 4" single (with a venturi tip), and 5" single. They did not have any power gain listed for the duals, but they show an increase on the 4" of 24hp and 36fpt, and 5" of 29hp and 45fpt. I think that it is high numbers for replacing less than half of the exhaust system. I just hope that this is a sign of many good things to come.

Does seem very high. Curious on how the dealers will react? mine told me you touch anything but the oil and air filter the warranty is gone...laugh

I still think it is cool to experiment.

It didn't say that it is released yet so it is probably not, I will check on a release date.

So what you believe when someone takes the truck past the baseline manufacturers specs and has problems the manufacturer should still be held liable? Not looking for a flamefest but would certainly enjoy a cordial conversation on the matter. :

is it right that a company can sell a truck that has problems straight from the factory? ie. the 6.0L

Is it "right" no does it happen yes. Not really relevant but I will give my 2 cents.

Manufacturer enters into an agreement with purchaser that you pay this price for this vehicle as long as you abide by the prescribed maintenance and keep said vehicle in specified specs they agree to repair any defects for the term of the warranty...

Now I ask is right to alter the manufacturers specs and still expect them to carry through with their commitment when the owner has not fulfilled theirs?
