Nah I heard it too, it's funny they say their trucks are running/idleing 24 hrs a day, and one of the things ford says not to do is let them idle for too long. Man that place must be the ultimate test of everything, man, machine, etc.

Diesel is in my blood, I guess you can call it a disease, sadly there is no cure for it, it's my cross I must carry

I guess things are a bit different up there, as in if you dont let it idle, everything will freeze up on ya.

Go Greyhound, and leave your luggage with us. *maybe not intentionally*

they prob have the high idle option for pto and stuff. I think they intagrated the high idle option into regen, cause i hear it works the same way, if u step on the brake it will idle back down.

The thing I thought was the funniest was the playin' with the rear slider window.

"Close the ****** window, it's -60 out!"

They leave them running because if they shut them down, they will not start! The only way to fire them is with an Espar heater or boosting/oil pan/block heating aids. Not for nothing, but Ford has had by far,the worst cold starting diesel now for a long time. Line up any similar yr Cummins/Dmax, PSD and the Cummins and DMax will light easily down to -20 with 15w40 oil in them.Ford is recommending 10w30 to help the cold start problem with the 6.0 PSD.
