???? Just got my F-350 Lariat 6.4\ Little worried w\problems i've read about

I just got my 08 Lariat SD. All options. Black exterior, stone interior. Nav, Power running boards. My truck is incredible. Little frustrated can't get the bench seat up front without going without adjustable pedals and memory seat option. Also wanted black leather, but can't get it in Lariat Package. So far I love my truck, but have read some pretty scary posts. Also disappointed with the gas mileage, but it's no worse than the D'max i was driving.

Just started my own business. Was working for a construction company before that swore up and down by the D'max and Cummins. They hated Fords. I drove an 06 dmax, and was pulling a skidsteer and mini trackhoe all the time on a gooseneck. I cannot even begin to tell you guys how much better the Ford is. I now have a 34' gooseneck. I pull a Cat 305 mini track-hoe and a Case 95 skid steer. Not only does it handle the weight better, but it has so much more power that I cannot even believe that anyone would buy a GM. Not to mention the dodge. I can set my cruise at 81-82 mph and hit the hills and my truck will hold that speed on most hills. If it's really steep, it might drop 5 mph to 75, but no lower than that. We had 6 GM's, and 3 Dodge cummins. The d-max, on the same hills would usually slow down to 50-55 mph. The dodges were so bad that we just finally decided to not even pull trailers with them. They ended up being errand trucks.

Congrats.

I have the same exterior and interior. From what I've been reading your mileage will improve as the engine gets more broken in. I wanted the Lariat with the black interior and was very disappointed when I found out it wasn't available. Otherwise I love the truck.

Enjoy the truck, and remember, nothing is perfect.

Go Greyhound, and leave your luggage with us. *maybe not intentionally*

The double negative is confusing me a bit, sorry. I have a bench and both adjustable pedals and memory seats.

The dealer told me I had to have captains chairs in order to have adjustable pedals and memory seat option.

I will post pictures after I get it completely done. I am lifting it 8". Putting 20 inch wheels, and 37" tires on it. Billet in the grille and in the fenders intakes. 5% tint on the back windows 30% on the front roll downs with an 8" strip on the windshield.
