I was gonna put some on my 03 LWB F-350, but ended up tradin for the 08' too fast. Best place I could find for them is underneath the bed between the frame and side of the bed. I'm gonna build a frame first with sheet metal on the bottom for protection then mount everything on that. Then just bolt it in.

Not sure on the 08' but on my 02' I mounted the horns behind the transfercase in front of the fuel tank facing forward. It is protected well next to the frame. My compressors and tank are mounted on the bottom of my tool box.

Hope this helps,

Mine (K5's) are mounted were the spare tire went and face rear. I took out the spare tire bracket and they fit nice and tucked in. Very hard to see but easy to hear. I hit the mounting nuts with a welder real quick for theft reasons. Twin compessors and 17 gal tank is in bed and fit perfectly under the garage for my Retrax cover:Thumbup:

No need for a spare if you got 38's. I have pics if you need them.

My truck is a 2004 F250 4x4 6.0 CC LB Sport with black interior and quad captains chairs. Mods include; 2005 front fascia and head lamps, Custom front bumper with Piaa dual function lights, 2008 side mirrors, Cowl Hood, Recon truck lights, Line-X bedliner, Nathan K 5's with dual compressors and 17 gal tank, Retrax bed cover, 10" lift, 38x14.5x16 Toyo M/T's, 456 gears, PML diff covers, Pro Comp ladder bars, Amp Research power steps, triple A-pillar with Dpricol gauges, Pioneer Z1 with Navigation, Boston Pros, Straight Pipe exhaust, air intake, Head Studs, Dfuser tunes and a Nasty ??? Alarm system. I removed all emblems and installed some front quarter panel vents.
