CB Radio

Has anyone put a CB in their truck? Tryin to get some ideas. I can't decide where to put the unit inside, Ford used up just about every square inch of the dash area.

Hmmm...do you have enough room to stick it under any part of the dash..or are your legs too long for that to happen and still be comfy?

Just a thought.

I'm 6'1" and drive a 6-speed. Pretty much anything under the dash is outa the question. I hate to put it on top but by the looks of it that's the only option.

hmm...lets see...you cant stick it in the console thing right, it wouldnt fit if I remember correctly...hmm...maybe you could do like the truckers do and put it up near the rearview or something like that...if that is what you meant..I appologize..hehe.

Pretty much what it looks like. That's probably the only place it would look decent.

Yeah...I was thinking you could mount it to the side of the console..like right next to you..but I dont think that would work very well..or be comfortable at some point if you rub up against it in a turn. I guess the rearview or area near it is the best place.

Awesome....but isnt that quite a reach? Does your shifter hit that when going into Overdrive?

Garage
I used a Shelf-it from www.JCW.com in the Ram and F250, and hung the radios that way. Worked great.
