Got the new motor in

Well got my truck back yesterday with the new motor. The problem was the rear side of the front cover that the water pump is mounted in had developed a hole from cavitation . My serv mang. said this used to be a problem on the 7.3 years ago with green coolant but should not be having this with the gold. Anyhow after the hole developed it filled the crankcase with coolant. Now Ford wants them to send the engine back for the enginers to try to fig out why.

thanks for the info on the reason for the failure, i never would have believed it with out the proof. i could believe a piston blowing, valve dropping, etc. but i never would have believed electrolisis so soon, that just plain b.s. . i hope you have no more troubles.
