Attention members, please read.

I've been doing a lot of cleaning in the 6.4 forums lately and I've been pretty nice about it. Well, no more Mr. nice guy. Consider this an official warning to all those who are suggesting "trade it in and buy a __________." That is not helping the person posting and it is NOT what The Diesel Garage is about. We welcome everyone here provided they follow the simples rules found HERE.

I understand there are times when it's a little ribbing and joking, but some of it has gotten out of hand lately.

Lets be adults here and help the members who need the help or guidance that makes this site so good. I think most of us here agree that all the mfgs make decent trucks. Are they perfect? no, absolutely not. But we aren't here to debate that. We are here to help people that come here seeking help not to judge what they bought.

Official warnings will start to be handed out and some of you who are frequent offenders will be given short "vacations" from TDG. I hate to do it and don't want to do it but when new members are complaining, I have no choice.
Please make my job easy, help the poster, don't make stupid suggestions.

thanks.

Thank you Russ.

I'll add a reminder to Russ's post: For anyone that dosen't know, there is a Report To Moderator button at the bottom lefthand corner of each post. It's a white triangle with red border and a line through the middle. The only reason I'm adding this is because I didn't know it was there untill a couple weeks ago, so for anyone that doesn't already know, it is there...please use it.

Thanks guys,

Matt

Couldn't agree with you more. I'm also a member of another Forum. On that Forum I asked about what type of aftermarket filter would the guys recommend and got slammed for not using the factory one. It's really annoying. I'm really glad you are doing this.

That is no problem Russ, I agree we should help each other out with issues no matter what brand Truck we drive, we all tend to pick and joke with each other and it does get out hand at times, I am guilty myself of it, I will quit that and try to help the guy out for now on. I read the posts from the Ford and Dodge sections and see what is going on with these guys and their Trucks but I drive a GM brand, we need to be more Adult about this, Russ is right.
