lift

Just got my new f250. It can't stay this way. Need bigger tires. What lift do I need to run 35" tires. And will this change the ride. I want to keep the smooth ride. Just got rid of my '02 excusion with 6inch lift. help.

Probably dont need very much lift to run 35's. Is the new truck an 08? If I had to guess, a leveling kit or 4.5-5" would work for that size tire.

It is an '08. Sorry but 35s won't fit. I put my 325 nittos from my excursion on it and they rub front and back. (on the front turning). I've heard just a 2" leveling will do it but I am skeptical after seeing them on. Also wierd was the lugs off my excursion didn't work on the new one-different thread pattern?

I was wondering the same thing. I have 18" wheels and was going to run Toyo 35x12.5x18 MT's. Ran the 33x12.5x18 MT on my 2004 F150 SCREW but only with a 2" level lift. Do I need the level lift with 18" wheels???

35s with stock suspension. 37s with 2.5 leveling kit. the wheel wells of the 08s are bigger than the previous models... it doesnt matter the size of the wheel either it matters the offset of the wheel your running. put a 2.5 leveling kit and 35s n it will look 100 percent better....

i agree, these trucks come stock with 34" tires, i think 35" should work without much problem, at the most a leveling kit.

i have a question that is somewhat related: i have been trying to put a combination together for the past month and literally have a headache thinking about it so much, but, heregoes:

i want to run an 8" rize lift (the radius arm drop) with 40x15.50x22 toyos on kmc rockstar 22x12 or 22x11 rims. will this work? and how much trimming will i have to do? i saw one on ebay and it looked great. it was on a dealer lot. any info would be appreciated. thank you.
