DPF delete

Anybody have any word on when this dpf delete kit is going to be out. I was hoping it would be on the market before x-mass.

Not sure of anyone that is putting a "kit" out, but alot of people ar doing it. The ones I know took the tuning out with SCT and just threw in a peice of pipe in lieu of the DPF.

I have my strait-pipe exhaust all fabed-up and ready to go. I did not think it would take this long for the damn tunes.... I'm almost wishing I bought that 07 Harley super-duty.:shootself:

Theres not much to it. I just grabbed a T304 4'' with a .055 wall thickness tube and I water jet cut a 3 flanges I'm going to weld one to the down pipe and the second on the strait pipe. So the exhaust can be quickly bolted on or taken off in the even of an emission test. The 3rd flange is going to be welded on the DPF so I can bolt it up quickly.

This is the tubing I am going to use.
- Here is an example what the flange/bolt patteren will look like. Just smaller and not as thick.

So is the DPF bolted on or welded onto the DP?? because if it is flanged on i was going to just get another flange to match the stock one on the DP... and then I can swap out the straight pipe with the DPF anytime I need or want to...

I talked to Eric from Innovative Diesel...

He said it will either be out by mid January OR they will have a specific release date then....

He said there will be a form you will have to sign saying it will be used only offroad, and it will be available via download to your previous purchased Livewire!

Things are looking up fellas!!!

It was only a matter of time before the EPA would butt in. Now we have to sign an agreement saying it's for off-road use only, whats next? I'll sign it, and of course drive on the highway like everyone else who does. Glad I live in an area that doesn't require emmisions tests and there isn't a mechanic within 50 miles that knows what a DPF is.
