Sirius Radio

I have sirius radio stock on my truck. If I upgrade to the AVIC-Z2 can I incorporate it somehow or do I still have to buy the module from Pioneer?

Pretty sure you will have to buy the module also.

Can you show me a pic of where you installed your GPS antenna? I saw a guy had one on his dash with the metal plate. Also, where did you get yours? I think you still need a trim kit correct? Thanks! Do you have the sub too?

You'll need to add the Sirius box and probably add an antenna too. I ran mine out the back through the 3rd brake light.

Maybe. It depends how it was hooked up to the factory unit.

mbixler, Yes you can use the factory sirius antenna if you ordered sirius with your truck but it does require a new sirius box.

Cajun, Yes I have both sirius and xm its a dream come true !! on the pioneer Z2 there is 2 satellite inputs for both so you can run either of them or both. you do have to run a separate antenna for the xm. If ford would have allowed more space underneath the dash where the factory siruis unit and antenna end is located you could have used a switcher which would have allowed you to use the factory sirius antenna for both the xm and sirius but the boxes have to be within 6 inches of each other.

pics coming !!
