HID optins for 08's?

what are my options? worth it? going to a better/brighter bulb be fine?

opinions/suggestions? thanks

If they don't come stock, it is illegal to change to them, and they may cause eletrical damage if used. Given that, my opinion is not to use them....

Just put in the sylvania ultra superstar bulbs, they are pretty good.

If you're going to do HID's do it the right way and get all new harnesses. Don't just try and replace the bulbs with something that is blue. What JDYDIESEL said is a good option too.

2008 Red CCSB 6.4 Auto Lariat.
Stock 20's wrapped in 35x12.50R20 Toyo MT's, 3.73 gears, Nav, Backup Cam, Tailgate step, Upfitters, etc.
Mods: AFE Intake, Line-X, 20% Tint, Clear Bra, Husky Mats, Smoked Recon Mirror markers/3rd brake light, Bushwacker Pocket style flares w/ mud flaps + an aluminum Rapid Hitch (one of the best investments!)

I just got 10000k's for my truck with its own harness I love them I cant imagine ever going back. I had them stock in my bmw m3 and they do not compare to the ones I just got. I cant get enough of them I find a reason to drive at night.

You will have problems with your computer if you alter any of the signals from the bulb back. The 08's monitors the health of the bulb and it finds any wrong it will shut it down.

i have had 2 backup lights blow already. mabey it needs to stop monitering them.

something suppose to tell you a light is out?
