Those with Aftermarket fender vents... in HERE Please!

I got some of the AMI Billet fender vents...the directions say to unclip the stock one by putting your arm down the side of the fender.... YEAH RIGHT... I can barley get my fingers through the hole!!! So how did you guys put these things in???

BTW: I got my 5" Magnaflow exhaust today and got it on the the 6" tip it looks freakin schweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!:smoke

Maybe like a same rubber hammer on the backside to lossen slightly then work it from the outside with a credit card or your nails until you can get a grip !! Maybe you could ask bruiser avatar if she could lend you a hand I'm sure he wouldn't mind

On the hush hush I have made a really expensive custom set of vents that has taken me 2 months total to get back and finnally install hopefully this weekend !!!

I keep you posted

Yeah I just installed my T Rex billet side vents ! I just put tape all around the emblem to keep from scracthing the paint then I took a small flathead screw driver and if you look from the top you can see two of the pressure clips and I just pryed right by those to keep from breaking anything it didnt sound the best pulling them off but they came off great and went back on even easier. You do need to pop the top piece off first then the bottom. I was so nervous getting mine off there is just something about prying on a 50000 dollar truck that made my stomach turn! But it went well and they look great if you need pics of what they look like on I could take you some! Good luck and I hope yours goes as well as mine did!
