Talking AIRAID Intake On (PICS) !!!!

I picked up a airaid intake from summit for $274.95 came in 3 days. the installation was really really easy . I chose the airaid due to the fact that 2 diesel magazine installed them and I haven't heard any problems associated with this kit, but only time will tell. I notice a little added turbo noise but not obtrusive its kinda nice to hear something mechanical. I read that someone said it was loud and they were going to take it off due to that fact they must have installed it wrong. ** One side note the air filter has a specific up side and down side if its upside down the hood will touch the top of the filter ** the pics are of the filter on wrong

Just out of curiousity, I can't remember, is changing the intake going to void your warranty?

I second that  It take less than 5 minutes to change them out once you put it together for the first time !!

onebadf150... I forgot where i read this but i was searching around to see what problems people had from the AFE intake and I came across a post... I think it may of been fordtrucks.com or something where a guy had an AFE and ended it throwing codes... so he called airraid and the guy at airraid told him not to pursue ANY aftermarket air filter setup as even the airraids have problems!!!

Just thought I would let you know! HOPEFULLY you dont throw codes, CASUE I WANT ONE TOO!!!

I'd be down for some feedback too. Had my 08 since Sept and started to get the mod itch.

so far the truck feels more responsive as soon as I get 500 miles on the intake I think I will know if it throws codes but for $274 I think it was money well spent.
