Question JOB XX means what to whom?

Where is this "JOB X" for the truck designation and where do you see it? Other than at the dealers? And what does it mean?

Job 1 is the initial release of a vehicle in a given model year. Any changes, additions or deletions of features/options within that model year will usually be designated by additional job #'s as needed.

Kind of a rough idea about how it works.

Job 2 production started in August 07, If I'm not mistaken. Trucks produced after that date are Job 2.

Larger from air dam, which apparently helps with the mileage. The only thing I've heard people complaining about with the Job 2's are the tire pressure sensors, major issues if you want to run different wheels or larger tires.

Other than that, the Job 3ís have the optional 3.55 rear gears, and the wide track front end is available for F-350 duallys.

Not sure, I think they're out. If the dealer has a truck with 3.55 gears its a Job 3.
