running B100 in 6.4

i was wondering if anyone has been running B100 or some other form of biodiesel in their 6.4. Between the milage and the $3.50 a gallon along with the payment of my truck, its getting real expensive real quick. i want to run an alt fuel but dont want to mess up my engine.

Acctually it will effect it. Talked with the service manager at the dealership I go to and he had just replaced an entire motor because someone was running B100. Truck went about 10,000 miles on it, but it wasn't worth the $15,000 motor not covered by warrenty.

I am running only a 2% blend of soy diesel. No problems yet... other than it will gel up sooner than regular fuel.

I was under the impression that the most biodiesel percentage you could run in these trucks was a 20% blend. I searched Ford's website pretty fast, and couldn't find anything. I don't think I would risk running anything other than the ULSD that's in the pumps. Many pumps around me are already mixed with a bio blend, so you're probably getting some already.

The max amount than can be put through these motors is B5. Blended fuel that are at the pumps shouldn't exceed the 5% limit.
