Need opinions on nfab step color

A lot of you guys seem to be mod-crazy on these trucks, so I figured this would be a great place to ask.... I'm FINALLY about to order a set of steps from Nfab. I'm completely stuck on whether to get them in black, or match the color of the FX4 trim. What do you guys think?? I have the silver/black thing going on already, with all of the Rize and OUO parts underneath. :

silver might look good but you cannot go wrong with black.

I'd say black.

I'd also say BLACK I like when things go away you don't want to take atention off the truck and put the focus on the bars. I think the truck looks awesome and black would only compliment the package !

I think you need to paint your side vents black but keep the red inserts or possibly darken the red a couple of shades !

if you are going to keep the bumpers and the flares dark shadow gray, then i would paint the steps the same gray. but thats just me. by the way - did you ever revisit the whole light bar idea with them??

ps - truck looks ******!!!

Im with John, I would get them to match the bumpers and flares. I think it would flow really well with the bottom half of the truck.
Id also get rid of the chrome on the vents.
Either way that truck is sick.

Thanks for the compliments! :thanks:

I'm thinking black might be the way to go since having the dark grey bars right above the bright silver suspension parts will show the fact that the two colors are different.

I haven't gotten into the light bar yet. Saving that one for when I get bored and "NEED" something to do. That will be painted to match the front bumper though. I like the FX4 trim.

On the chrome vents; smoked/tinted chrome would be cool, but I'm not sure how to do that. Any ideas?? They look fine now but after harley headlights and recon cab/mirror lenses, chrome will jump out too much.

On the vent I think the color you're looking fo r is "Gunmetal" which would look killer I can't believe I didn't think of it  now how would we get the look I need to think about it !

Black IMO. I think the silver would draw too much attention to them.
