Ipod connector

Anyone installed one of these on their truck with the factory nav?

I contacted the vendor and talked to them for a few minutes. They emailed me this picture. Went ahead and ordered one.

wow this would be awesome, does anyonne know of a switching unit i could put in so i could keep my factory satellite and still use this product, wiht a switch that would control which input would go into the rear of the nav unit?

According to the website they have one for factory installed satelite. I may have to order one myself.

The guy told me that it will work with or without satellite. Without satellite, you just hook it up directly to your radio. With satellite, you hook it up to your radio and the Sirius receiver. It 'tricks' the Sirius into thinking the ipod is just another channel. He did tell me that you have to disconnect your ipod to listen to Sirius. Not a big deal.

Neat thing will be to control your ipod through the radio. And to see what is being played, etc..
