About a lift!

Hey guys I'm wanting to lift the 250. I think I'm wanting to go with a 8 inch lift on 37's because I don't know if 38's will fit under it with an 8 inch lift. I was wanting to know what kits you guys like in the 8 inch and what you recommend me getting I want to do it right but not spend an outrageous amount of money on it I just want it to ride decent. I also wanted to ask what do you guys think is the best tire in a 37 to run? Thank you guys for any input!

38's will fit. What gears are you running? Kumho Road Venture M/T KL 71 are awesome

Im running 373 gears. You think that will be ok or do you think I need a smaller tire on it?

smaller tire won't look as good...I'm thinking 4.10 for the 37's should be ok maybe 4.56

I'm running an 8" with 38x15.50's on 20x10's. They fit. BARELY rub on the drivers side radius arm. By barely, I mean, about one inch less than full lock on the steering wheel and it will start to rub. I just stay off the left steering lock (full left) and it's fine. If you want a 37x13.50, I'd do a 6" lift. In my opinion, 8" make the tires look just a tad small.

3.73 gears will be fine. You'll feel it, but only because you're out of the power band. Once you get the rpms up, it launches. I'm going to regear to 4.30 or 4.56. Haven't decided yet. Its been about 7k miles on the 3.73's with no problem though.

As for brands, I'd price out Rize, Fabtech, & Skyjackers new kit to see what you like price wise.
