Common Rail Fuel Pump Location????

I just realized international put the pump under the engine cover on the back of the engine to suppress it from noise. Did duramax do the same? I thought there's was external on top of the engine? Or is that just in a Dual CP3 setup?

the d-max pump is in front of the engine down low in the valley,it"s driven off the front camshaft gear.

I figured it was something like that. I knew it had to be cam driven to stay in time.

The High pressure fuel pump is located on the back of the engine under the turbo's it is cover by a panel.

99.5 F250, VGT 5.9 CR cummins
