Loss Of Coolant

I am loosing coolant out of the fill cap. What causes this?

The filler cap must be faulty.

2007 F-350 Lariat, 6.0L Powerstroke, Crew Cab, 4x4, Automatic --> ESSO XD-3 0W30 Synthetic.
1998 Chevrolet K2500, 6.5L, Reg Cab, 4x4, Automatic (220,000 KM and still going)

Soak your cap in hot water and let it dry out over night, the coolant can dry in the seal making it stick open and leak.

are you sure that its leaking from the coolant cap, there's a replacement bulletin on the radiators, mine was actually leaking down the side where the plastic end is adjoined to the aluminum coil itself.
