For the Northern Hunters, Fishermen, and Off roaders out there

Is there any good after market air intakes out there that would eliminate the snow build up that occurs when you take these trucks off road in deep snow. I think Ford designed a poor air intake. Whats the point of having a 4x4 truck that can handle getting you through the snow but plugs up the air box. I was out ice fishing the other day and had to break trail across a lake in snow up to the bottum of the truck to get to my fishing spot. The truck had no problem getting in there in 4x4 but after i left and got back on to the main road i notice my check engine light on and no boost. I thought i had blown a turbo. When i checked the air filter it was completely plugged with snow, a new one cost me 119 bucks, i'm keeping the old one for a spare. One of the after market intakes must due a better job of limiting snow ingestion. Any feed back or experiences with this condition would be great. Thanks in advance
