Question regarding water/fuel separator

Such a beautiful day yesterday, I fooled around outside with my truck and decided to due the recommended monthly draining for water in the fuel. Crawled underneath and flipped the yellow lever. Only a drip every few seconds would come out. Moved the lever back and forth, but it never got any faster.

The first time I did this back when I got the truck, a steady stream came out. Since then, only a drip every few seconds. Anyone else's truck behaving this way?

I had the exact same problem... flipped the lever, waited for a minute, and ONE SINGLE drip would fall. Before, it had always come out in a steady stream. Tried this a few times over a few days, finally got frustrated, and just went to the dealer. I get there, explain the problem, (they look at me like I don't know what I'm doing, even though I've done it many times before), then the tech comes out and says... come with me... we walk to the truck on the lift, he flips the lever, fuel pours out. :

Maybe try driving around and then draining... instead of checking before the first trip of the day? I had started the engine and turned it off once or twice before, and it didn't solve the drip problem when I was initially trying to troubleshoot it.
