Passenger side IC pipe

Has anyone looked at the IC pipe on the passenger side of the truck where it passes by the radiator and into the engine compartment? Man! Talking about a bad design. If you haven't noticed this, you need to go out side and take a look! Anybody know of a replacement for this? I'm sure there is some gains that can be had. This is a super restriction in air flow IMHO.

If an intake elbow on a 6.0 can gain 10 hp/tq, then this is worse than it looks. The flattened part is bad enough, but that dent in the side of the flat part chokes it down to nothing.

I agree probably some gain I would have made one already but no good pipe fabricator around here. ceramic coating would be a good option to !

I think we see at least 5hp and 10tq by smoothing the bend !

Someone will have to prove it to me with dyno results that there is no gain to be had. That pipe is almost squeezed closed.
