Truck Stuttered

had the cruise on 70-75

i was about 30 minutes into my 3 hour drive. i just got gas 30 minutes before and it was diesel i put into the tank.

and i think it went into regens because i saw a little white smoke for about 30 seconds

then it stuttered like a (ugh ugh ugh) it kinda felt like if u were on cruise and just pumped the throttle 3 times while goin 70 is what it felt like.

that was it

anyone else ever do this after a regens cycle? (atleast i think it was a regens)

it was werid truck ran fine before and after that.

Mine did that at first when I got it. It's very noticable in mine because I have no torque converter. It is the regen cycle, every time it happened my SCT display said I was in regen. When I started using Diesel Kleen fuel additive it did it a lot less.

I only use 16 oz. per tank. So the big bottle lasts me awhile, and it pays for itself because I end up getting better mileage and regen less.

well i think a $60,000 truck should not have to stutter before it goes into regens...

let alone should i have to add fuel additive to make it run better...

i am really getting pi**ed about this regens crap...im really tempted to get rid of it

and strict laws now for all this global warming is killinnn me.....tamping them down so much a truck only get 11 mpg:shrug:

don't worry give it time and somebody will come out with something to get rid of all of it.

But I would be willing to bet money that BANKS will not be the first one to come out with it. They very well might claim they were the first but they won't have one until they can copy somebody else design
