ok guys.. if you read my check engine light thread then here ya go.. here's the video we got on the straight pipe run...

well he has the cracked filter and he picked up a couple mpg.. you can tell the difference.. with the straight pipe you can feel a power increase and the smoke was nicee... we'll find out more about the mpg and everything this weekend.. it was just a hey were bored thing.. so now we have something to research on

there is alot of turbo whistle when you rev it and when you start to take off... the truck is alot louder at idle. you can actually tell its a diesel.. not as loud as a 6.0 or 7.3... ill get a video of it idleing and reving and everything else we can think of this weekend

have you ever driven in a 03 6.0L? Was wondering if it had the touted whislte of the '03' style turbo.

no nothing like the 03's and 04's... as much turbo whistle as an 05 turbo... maybe a little less.. if the 6.4's had only a single turbo.. it would sound just like an 03 for sure.. no doubt in my mind they would sound alike
