I have a 7.3 Im trying to sell. What are the goods and bads of the 6.4? Thanks for the help

only bad thing I see with the 6.4L right now is the increased complexity due to being emmisions compliant...and the lower fuel mileage. If you remove the DPF guys are getting much better fuel economy. I will own a 6.4L one day.

The rad tends to develop leaks...which could cause damage to the egr, and cause other such headaches. Some people have lost engines quite early, but i dont know. Its a 50,000 dolla truck, i would keep the good ole 7.3 for when you need one bad arse truck to do the hard work.
6.4 Good-200+ hp tunes 500+ hp on just a damn chip! Lotta beef in this engine.
6.4 Bad- Nothing really bad about the engine, i think the major problems were caused by either the tuning by the dealership or the egr giving the engine a little mouth. The bad fuel milage will get better when you rip that epa bs off.
