New Truck

I have been shopping around for an '08 F250 FX4 to replace my '04 F350 Lariat. I have come up with my best deal so far at $15K difference. Here are the particulars, '04 F350 CC DRW Lariat, off road package, long bed, leather, power everything, heated seats, sun roof, and 130Kmiles. What I am looking at is an '08 F250 FX4 CC short bed with cloth interior, tow command, upfitter switches, 20' wheels, and tailgate step. This is based on the X plan and all the rebates I can get. Can I do better or is this a good deal.

In my opinion, that sounds like a fair deal. But, there is one thing for sure, if you can sell your truck yourself, you will get a better deal overall.
The dealer wants $xxxx dollars for the 08 and wants to make $xxxx dollars on the trade. The money he makes on your trade, is the money you are losing. There are a couple good points for trading though. You save money on sales tax (in Colorado anyway) and no advertising fees and wasting your time showing your truck and it is gone right away.
