Really thinking about DPF delete

Im REALLY thinking about doing the dpf delete now that I have about 40k on the rig thinking I have all the bugs worked out. Im wanting to do the easiest swap possible incase I have to reinstall everything again for warranty work.

So guys that have been there and done that tell me what to go with,I really dont want to mess with pulling the stock sensors just want to drop it and install the delete system in full.

Guru's give me some tips and how much those sensors cost.

If someone is close to me that has done it a few times please chime in as I may need alittle help..

Clean and easy swap, full CAT/DPF pipe. This allows you to remove the assemble in one piece, you don't even have to put a socket or wrench on the nuts that hold the two together. Sensor should run about $80 each on the EGT ones, if the truck was built Jan 07 or later all three are the same number. As far as pressure sensor, if you run one of my pipes you dont even have to remove the fitting from the pipe. You will just remove the pressure sensor off the brkt and pull the rubber hose off the nipple on the factory pipe. Very, very clean and easy. Let me know if you need any help.

I have powerstroker67's pipe and it was very easy with the full-delete. The only sensor I'd consider getting a 2nd one of is the rear-most EGT. That thing was a nightmare to remove. The others took seconds, each.

Besides the obvious, the only other thing I can say is that I took the exhaust hangers right off the frame rather than fight those stupid rubber things trying to pop them off and smash up knuckles.

There are quite a few threads that give the step by step order of things.

I would go with powerstrokers set up. My egt sensors came out easy. Just sprayed some pb blasted on them and used a 13mm tubing wrench. I did totally remove the front hanger and left the rest on there. It's pretty simple really.

Do you have DPF Delete tuning installed? If not, you need to either get a SCT or Spartan programmer. Let me know if i can help in any way.

Congoboy, It's not as easy as just removing the DPF and CAT and installing a pipe. You have to have have a program that will stop several things including the regeneration process. Spartan can help you. You need a DD and specific tuning/calibration to make it run correctly. I hope this helps

I have the spartan tuner and the dpf delete pipe. If i do the full delete pipe you offer would the high pressure vaccume cleaner sound go away? Would the truck be louder?
