thatll be a hard peice to find....

what you could do instead is leave the cat on and find some 1/4" or 1/2" plate and weld it up to your pipe and bolt it directly to your cat...

I thought about doing this myself with the muffler delete pipes that are 30" long. I think there are 3 sensor bungs needed, all you would have to do is weld 3 nuts on the pipe I dont even think the spacing matters more than where the harness can reach. And as far as I know you should be able to go to a muffler shop for the ball type flange or just order one online. PM me if you need a place to find one online, I know a few places but dont want to post them because I dont think they are venders and I dont want to impose on a possible vender that sells them on here.

The elusive ball flange

It was not more than a week after buying my truck when I had the same thoughts as you. I was not able to locate a machine able to make such a large diameter ball flange.

I did locate a piece of pipe that was the right size, had the perfect "S" bend, and a flange on the end that fit perfectly into the stock down pipe. Unfortunately it was a Freightliner part and cost $280.00. My discovery did eventually lead to one of the first prototype Powerstroker pipes.

With Sean's wizardry, this pipe, and several additional parts, the pipe of today was conceived but cost way more than what he is selling them for now. With refinement Sean now has a high quality part that is as well built as anything else on the truck and cost less than making it yourself. I got 12,000 miles on mine and the delete pipe looks better than the rest of the exhaust.

I dont mean to say powerstrokers pipes arent good, because I do think he makes a great product. But for those of us with more limited funds for truck mods you could make your own pipe for about 150.00. I have the parts listed I need to do it, you can use the reducer from your aftermarket exhaust to step down for the flange. I wish I had the extra 420.00 bones for powerstrokers 5" cat/dpf delete pipe but most of my mods have to be cleared through my Chief Financial Officer (wife lol) and she would just ask why when I already have a dpf pipe. So any how the people that make the pipes are good people to deal with but if your modding on a budget then this might be a good alternitive. It may not look as nice but it will get the job done.
