Delete question

I have the dpf delete and spartan with banks monster duals. I like how the truck sounds but when you get on the small pedal it has that high pressure vaccume sound from the tails. My question is, if i do the full delete(dpf and cat.) will the woosh go away? Will the truck be louder? Also, will it be easyer to put the dpf back on for when it needs to go to the dealer for something. Removing and re installing just the dpf is a pain in the *****.

No woosh will not go away what ya need is found here...

http://www.aeroexhaust.com/five_inch...er_5050xl.html

or some sort of straight through resinated muffler... That will lower your exhaust note by a tad, but WILL take away the woosh you are speaking of!

and yes you must put the DPF back on the vehicle for service... The Ford dealer down here in Athens, Ohio is retarted and doesnt even know about the DPF

Expensive for a little piece of stainless pipe. I went from stock to DPF/DOC delete. Didnt want to have to go back and take the DOC off. I dont think that muffler is work the money, its just too small.

Is your truck real loud? Do you have any sound clips?

These trucks are not loud ... they do get a little throaty up in the rpm range... but down low they should like an jet plane..

The muffler does not need to be big to get rid of the WOOSH... That is all he said he wanted gone... and that muffler will do it... or even a glasspack would do the job!

Im sorry but i dont see a muffler the size of my foot making all that much of a difference on a noise like that. I had a sound clip but its not a good quality one and it sounds almost like stock just throaty.

It still has to be easyer to re install the dpf and cat all together verses just the dpf. Here in mass. when you go to get your yearly inspection sticker they now plug into the obd2 port and scan for codes. There for i will half to put the dpf back in and set it to stock tunes. I was told that fines can be up to $50,000 for dpf removal. I should just buy another truck.
