Fuel Mileage

First off, this isnt to whine and moan about the MPG compared to the 6.0's.

I had my first regen today (374 miles). The fuel mileage never really dropped from the 8-9 MPG the lie-o-meter is showing. I haven't really had a chance to take a trip to see how it is on the highway yet but around town I figured it to be a little higher than that but it is what it is, for now. Should I expect anything different? Im hauling a trailer back and forth down country roads pickiing up limbs and whatnot, not letting it idle and running about 35-45. The lie-o-meter was saying about 9 before and dropped to around 8.3 now it's back to 9. Is this thing doing what it's supposed to do? Just hoping I can see double digits sometime soon (not *****ing though b/c I knew what I was getting, and given the chance to do it all over again, I would do the same thing).

You wont see any noticable mpg gains for another 15-20,000 miles. Ive got 95,000km on mine and get a avg 15mpg on the highway and 12 in town.

Lets just say not quite stock.

thats about it really until you rack some more miles on it, even though you won't really see a substantial gain unless you tune it with the dpf delete.

Had mine for almost a year now (march of 08) and with my hand calculations pulling a toyhauler getting around 10.4 and not pulling the best is 12.2 That's it nothing great. If your getting 16 I'd be happy.

My first tank with the 210 tune netted 12.47 mpg, mostly hwy @ 80 mph. A lot better than the 8-9 mpg I was getting stock with 3:73's and 35 x 13.5 MT ATZ's. LOM said 18.

I did not go by the dash readout, just filled up yesterday and hand calculated at 15.9 mpg. Now, 85% of that is was highway.
