Spartan and Traction Control

We just finished up an F450 dually and were doing a few burnouts for our video library. The truck just did not seem to pull as hard as it should with the 275 tune and intake exhaust combo. After the guy left and I was going home, I checked the rubber marks and it looked like it was wheel hopping. I have not had any Super Duty wheel hop before and thought maybe the truck had traction control. I called the guy up and he confirmed it did and he figured it was on. My question is, has anyone out there with traction control and Spartan tune had similar experience? How does your system act if you try to spin the tires with it on? It was weird how the traction control interviened as it never totally cut power off as it would normally if it was spinning in snow, it just seemed to lower the power of the truck. Yet, looking at the rubber marks, it was trying to cut power. You just could not feel it. BTW, duallys do killer burnouts.

I have not really been able to do any burnouts with the TC on. I was told that the TC actually applies brakes to keep the wheels from spinning. I have a 450 with 4.88's and I run the 210 Spartan tune.

I believe it defuels the engine by the throttle control.

Yes, our customer was doing the driving. We do not test drive any customer vehicles unless they are there or give permission. BTW, the truck is working normally now, so everyone is happy.

No problem as I would be pissed if someone was burning up my tires without permission.
