Customer Satisfaction Program 09B08

I just got a letter from Ford about fuel injector Orings leaking fuel into the crankcase and causin' bad juju. Just checked my level and it's a bit above full. Goin to the dealer next week.

Have you noticed your oil level a little high prior to this? If so your oil has fuel in it due to regen. Up to 2 quarts is within spec according to Ford. My truck made oil with the regen on and I am not affected by the recall. Just a thought

Geez, two extra quarts of diluted oil is within Ford spec, two minutes for the hubs to engage is within Ford spec, metal chunks on drain plugs for the engine and differential are nothing to worry about, it makes a guy wonder if they are just "rolling the dice".

I think so too. Too much money to fix everything right. I will just keep taking oil samples and get them tested. My dpf is off, so I will see how much dilution I get now. If the engine blows, I will have info to back up against their "in spec" approach. I have had 1 quart of fuel in my truck, the last one was half of that. The next one should be less than 1%

No TB number, just Program Number 09B08. The dealer wasn't even aware of it, but made me an appointment to bring it in next week and take a look. Never had any warranty work on my only other new truck, the '02, so not sure how they handle these jobs. Do I get a rental if it takes longer than a day?

I just called and I don't get a rental. I'll camp out 'round the dealer then.

Where do you take your oil for testing?
